About the job

In this position you will assist in transition of Brands (Companies) ITM8 purchase and their systems integrated into ITM8. That will be on topics like:

CMDB, Monitoring, Backup, Patching, Deployment, Antivirus, Invoicing, Reporting and SPLA License count using Azure groups.

Experts in many of the different fields will assist, but you are expected to initiate contact between core experts and/or consultants from the brand and ITM8 experts and assist in making sure connection it made between systems.

You will work with API endpoints, PowerShell scripts and others towards multiple systems which need to integrate to ITM8 systems. Also will be looking for improvements while you gain knowledge of the brands you work with. You will be providing knowledge and information about ITM8 core systems to the new brands, get them on board so to say. Taking part in project meetings. Updating project plans on your progress. Ensuring knowledge sharing. Ensuring quality control on integrated/imported systems.

You will be a contact person with your expert knowledge of both ITM8 and working with different brands. Taking part in daily standups meetings on teams, where we discuss yesterday and today’s task and events. Assisting with your expert knowledge in troubleshooting incidents if applicable. Every 2nd week we have a team meeting and if needed you will be participating in meetings on teams.

You do not need to be located in Prague, as soon as you live in Czech republic, but we will need you to travel to Prague when there is a visit manager who is otherwise located in Denmark and at the present time trying to come every 6-8 weeks and stay for a few days where we expect you to be there.

You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing scripts for automation and data collection on different systems. Could be towards Microsoft AD, VMware ESX, Hyper-V, Veeam Backup & Replication, Cisco UCS blade infrastructure, IBM Storage, monitoring systems, basically anything which we need to script towards.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Integrate or migrate systems used by a brand into what ITM8 is currently using for each area.
• Ensure deadlines are being met.
• Escalate if needed to responsible manager if obstacles are seen, both system or human.
• Creating and filling out RFCs in the required ITSM systems (may differ, depending on the brands)
• Work closely together with ITM8 core tool experts to ensure connectivity and quality.
• Work closely together with brand experts and consultants to get around all systems.
• Maintaining and developing PowerShell scripts.
• Ensure script or solution designs and ticket work is well documented.
• Assist in creating connectivity to data from brands to ensure automatic invoicing can occur start when needed.
• Take lead in mini project and ensure progress among colleagues in others working on same area.

What do you need for this role?

• Min 7 years of experience working with Microsoft Infrastructure in large IT environments
• Possible IT background: System administrator in a large organisation or Microsoft Hyper-V expert or Automation specialist or Cloud Integration Engineer or System Integrator or Transition Specialist
• Microsoft Certified knowledge on Server/Azure environments is an advantage, but not a must
• Deep knowledge and min 5 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell
• Knowledge working according to ITIL framework
• Be fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our communication language is English
• Proactive approach, mindset of always improving and willingness to learn
• Good documentations skills
• Be flexible and able to understand that our planning of our day can change very fast. Priority changes, IT breaks and focus will have to change.
